About me

I'm a trainer and coach with over 20 years of experience ... blablabla. No, I'm not going to go there. You're just going have to trust me on my expertise, so let's skip the fluff. I believe in doing meaningful work, having honest conversations, and helping others move forward.

I live in The Hague with Jacques, Noah, and our ever-enthusiastic dog, Spikey, who somehow has more energy than all of us combined. I'm one of those people who loves the idea of sports but rarely gets past a good walk or an ambitious yoga session.

What I do love is food—and everything it brings. Getting people together, enjoying great food, real conversations, and having a laugh. Life is short, and I believe we should spend our time doing what we love and what truly matters. Too many people live their lives searching for fulfillment without knowing where to find it. That's why I do what I do. Enough about me.

My philosophy

My work is about helping you understand yourself better, so you can stand stronger and shape your life on your own terms. No theory overload or abstract models—just practical steps for real, lasting change. But that doesn't mean I rely on pop or pseudo psychology. I take proven theories and translate them into actionable insights, so you can use them to grow and transform your life.

I firmly believe in stepping back to move forward. That's why my training programs take place in nature, free from laptops and (preferably) phones. A change of environment, with fewer distractions, creates space for reflection, meaningful conversations, and quiet time—key elements for shaping real change.

Many of my clients seek a sense of meaning, purpose and happiness. For me, these topics aren't about chasing continuous euphoric moments or success stories. That's unrealistic and often sets you up for disappointment. It's about consciously experiencing what life brings and learning how to respond, so you can continue evolving as a person.

What does that look like? It's a journey of discovering, experimenting, and changing. I weave in surprising, innovative, and fun activities, ensuring we move forward with enthusiasm, joy, and always a focus on practical action.
